Jory and Tess (Blake Foster and Danielle Wiener) live with their grandparents (Hal Holbrook and Rue McClanahan) in an animal shelter -- where all the animals can talk. But when a couple of repulsive relatives scheme to get their greedy hands on the kids' trust fund and kidnap the shelter's puppies, it's Rusty the Beagle to the rescue.
