Bhanu (Anupam Kher) is the brother of Yashoda (Farida Jalal), a distraught woman grieving the loss of her baby killed by her suicidal husband. For revenge, Bhanu asks his friend Mahipal (Arvind Swamy) to challenge Yashoda's in-laws to a bull-cart race. When the friends win the race, they continue to ride the cart, picking up a brother and sister along the way. The buddies clash, however, when Bhanu realizes he has feelings for the sister.
