Ex-gunslinger Steve Sinclair (Robert Taylor) finds trouble when his tranquil life as a rancher is interrupted by the arrival of his wild kid-brother Tony (John Cassavetes), whose trigger-happy ways soon put the Sinclairs at odds with patriarchal landowner Dennis Deneen (Donald Crisp). Also starring a foxy Julie London as Tony's showgirl bride, this psychological Western marks the first feature screenplay by "Twilight Zone" creator Rod Serling.
