Following a lifetime of building up the family business after his parents were killed in an earthquake, prosperous but lonely businessman Keshav (Amol Palekar) has suicidal thoughts as his 60th birthday approaches. Then, he runs into his college sweetheart, Shama (Sharmila Tagore). Her life hasn't turned out the way she'd hoped, either. Can the couple cure their own personal woes and rekindle their love in this stirring Marathi romance?
