On a trip through Asia, Ben (David Kross) and his friend Ed (Stefan Konarske) stop in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. During a night of partying and drugs, Ben has sex with Sreykeo (Apinya Sakuljaroensuk), a poor local girl. Their tryst leads to love, but Sreykeo soon receives devastating news. Learning she's HIV-positive, she contacts Ben in Germany. But despite the diagnosis and their differences, Ben and Sreykeo are determined to be together.
