After enduring the punishing regimen at the Otokojuku samurai training school, three friends (Hiroyuki Onoue, Tak Sakaguchi and Shoei) are put to the test in a battle for supremacy with the students of Kanta Gogakuren, a rival institution. Tak Sakaguchi directs this high-action martial arts adventure based on the widely read Japanese manga by the same name that features an "amazing triple-death battle" to boot.
