Circumstances conspire to separate two childhood sweethearts in director R.C. Talwar's vintage tale of romance starring Dilip Kumar, Madhubala, Leela Chitnis, Dara Singh and Pratima Devi. Though the passage of time and their vastly different upbringings create a seemingly insurmountable gulf between the couple, destiny takes a hand and reunites the lovers. But a disturbing secret soon threatens to rip them apart yet again.
