Director Gyan Mukherjee crafts an inspirational biopic chronicling the life of freedom fighter Sardar Patel, who led several satyagrahas -- nonviolent mass civil disobedience demonstrations -- during India's struggle for freedom from British rule. Focusing on the last five years of his life from 1945 to 1950, the film celebrates Sardar's influence during the country's pre-and postindependence period before his death by cardiac arrest.
