In this sequel to the 2005 hit Sarkar, Anita Rajan (Aishwarya Rai), a power company CEO, plans a new facility in the rural Indian state of Maharashtra. Business-savvy Shankar (Abhishek Bachchan) sees the potential and tries to persuade his neighbors to accept Rajan's plan. But so much industrial money flowing into the region brings out the financial vultures, who are willing to destroy everyone involved to get their share.
