Satya (J.D. Chakravarthi) is a well-intentioned man whose bad choices have landed him in a Bombay jail. In the slammer, he adds to his list of mistakes by befriending a gangster named Bheeku (Manoj Bajpai), who's eager to welcome a new member into his gang. While living in his gang-provided apartment, Satya meets and falls for Vidya, a neighbor who lives with her aging parents. It soon becomes apparent that Satya must keep his gang life a secret.
