Left penniless by a cruel husband, a single mother (Maggie Cheung) who's an artist by day must drive a taxicab through the streets of San Francisco by night to make ends meet and to support her 10-year-old son (Scott Leung). But her life takes an abrupt turn when she picks up a hotshot, dot-com entrepreneur (Leon Lai) with a penchant for one-night stands in this romantic comedy from director Andrew Lau.
