This drama set in the port of Valencia centers on the budding romance between Berta (Marisa Paredes), a beautiful, docile nurse, and Eduardo (Imanol Arias), a hard-drinking police inspector. Berta looks after her orphaned teenage niece and nephews, whose escalating criminal behavior soon complicates her relationship with Eduardo. When Eduardo must investigate a crime that appears to involve the teens, where will this lead the relationship?
