When Ravi (Sunny Deol), the son of an impoverished barber, and Jyoti (Poonam Dhillon), the daughter of affluent parents, find love, their liaison challenges society's caste system. What begins as a blissful romance soon leads to shattered dreams and tragic consequences in director Bharathi Rajaa's affecting tale, which examines the barriers created by class, tradition and wealth. The cast also includes Prem Chopra and Rakesh Bedi.
