Jack Haley (The Wizard of Oz's Tin Man) stars as hapless reporter Larry Elliot, who's sent to cover a local wine festival. When a man on the bus he's riding is murdered, Larry lucks into the story of his career -- but also finds himself a suspect! Aided by plucky Sally Warren (Ann Savage), Larry tracks the killers to a rundown inn, where more than just murder is afoot. Barton MacLane co-stars in this comic mystery, also known as Scared Stiff.
