Steven Soderbergh directs, writes and stars in this freewheeling comedy stuffed to the gills with visual and verbal puns. Soderbergh plays dual roles in a bizarre cast of characters with absurd names like Elmo Oxygen and T. Azimuth Schwitters. Nerdy copywriter Fletcher Munson (Soderbergh) finds himself under pressure to write a speech for a revered spiritual guru, while dentist Jeffrey Korchek (Soderbergh) starts an affair with Munson's wife.
