When unsuspecting friends Denis Brabant (Alfred Molina) and Zac Cross (Patrick McGaw) offer a ride to a hitchhiker (Esai Morales) with a beautiful companion, they never predict their road trip will take a detour into danger. Rubén Blades (The Milagro Beanfield War) and Kevin Tighe (of the 1970s television series "Emergency!") co-star, with Matthew McConaughey offering a cameo as the infamous drug lord, El Rojo.
