Legendary Japanese director Teruo Ishii's cult film, based on a manga by comic book artist Yoshiharu Tsuge, follows a sexually obsessed man as he slowly loses a grip on his sanity. Struggling cartoonist Tsube (Tadanobu Asano) can no longer pay rent, so he moves out of the apartment he shares with his girlfriend, Kuniko (Miki Fujitani). But when he learns she's being unfaithful, his despair turns to rage and his erotic obsessions lead to violence.
