Sacred Heart Hospital's loopy staff returns for more neuroses and comic capers in this quirky sitcom's sophomore season, when J.D. (Zach Braff) begins his residency, Elliot (Sarah Chalke) finds a new boyfriend, and Turk (Donald Faison) proposes to Carla (Judy Reyes). On hand are blustery Dr. Perry Cox (John C. McGinley), obtrusive head of medicine Dr. Bob Kelso (Ken Jenkins) and the shadowy janitor (Neil Flynn).
