Set in a not-so-distant future that's taken human civilization into the ocean's depths, this Steven Spielberg-produced sci-fi series concerns the adventures of a peacekeeping vessel steered by unflappable commander Capt. Nathan Bridger (Roy Scheider). His crew includes his first officer, Cmdr. Jonathan Ford (Don Franklin), wunderkind Lucas Wolenczak (Jonathan Brandis) and the submarine's resident dolphin, Darwin (voiced by Frank Welker).
