Director David Salle's quirky satire stars Griffin Dunne as Martin Mirkheim, a wannabe movie producer determined to turn a book by self-help expert Luther Waxling (Dennis Hopper) into a cinema blockbuster so Mirkheim can pay his debt to the IRS. Executive produced by Martin Scorsese, the film features a star-studded cast that includes Christopher Walken, Illeana Douglas, John Turturro, Rosanna Arquette and Ethan Hawke.
