On the surface, Santa Rita, California, is a lush, idyllic resort community. But underneath that coat of beauty, there lurks a world of dark secrets and inner turmoils. Several of the town's inhabitants -- including widowed Diane (Connie Sellecca), her sister Kate (Megan Porter Follows), and Kate's best friend Melinda (Jennifer Lopez) -- can't seem to find the right man. These struggles are at the core of the series.
