Ann-Margret plays the delusional and disturbed Diane Borchardt in this true crime made-for-TV movie. Unhappy with their marriage, Diane's husband, Ruben (Peter Coyote), begins an affair with a married woman (Leslie Hope), igniting Diane's passion for revenge. She feeds lies to a teenage boy (Christian Campbell) that her husband is abusive and manipulates him and his friends into killing Ruben. Told in flashback, John Patterson's thriller co-stars Tobey Maguire.
