Simon (Jean Yanne) has only one friend, a cop named Mickey (Yvon Back). When Mickey is shot and killed, Simon drops his simple life as a salesman to make vengeance his full-time job. Tracking down small-time hood Marx (Jean-Louis Trintignant) and his dim-witted sidekick Johnny (Mathieu Kassovitz), Simon finds a new life for himself in his friend's death. Bulle Ogier co-stars in this wry black comedy, winner of three César Awards.
