Ambitious businessman Shyamalendu Chatterjee (Barun Chanda) enjoys showing his visiting sister-in-law, Tutul (Sharmila Tagore), the extravagant life he leads with his wife, Dolan (Parumita Chowdhury). But Tutul is less than impressed with the trappings of wealth. When a crisis at work threatens his chance at a promotion, Shyamalendu hatches a plan that saves his skin -- but alienates his idealistic sister-in-law. Satyajit Ray directs.
