Outside Las Vegas, a mother (Diane Venora) goes to extreme lengths to save her teenage son (Monty Lapica) from drugs. Struggling with the loss of his father, Andrew begins a descent into violence and drug addiction, so his desperate mother hires a company to abduct him. Andrew is then locked down and subjected to abuse that compels him to confront his inner demons and stop his self-destruction. This award-winning film is based on a true story.
