In this spiritual coming-of-age tale, Pastor John Gunn (John Schneider) sends a group of at-risk urban youngsters to spend a summer on a working ranch, hoping they'll learn things about life that the city can't teach them. Under the tutelage of his brother and sister-in-law (real-life ministers Randy and Heidi Gunn, respectively) and a tough-love ranch hand (Richard Roundtree), the kids get a taste of hard work and gain some hard-earned wisdom.
