Nabbing the Oscar for Best Writing, this tense drama begins with a dilemma for British scientist John Willingdon (Barry Jones), who's stolen an atomic bomb from the lab where he works. Appalled by the weapon's deadly power, he insists on a government ban of nuclear research, threatening to detonate the bomb if his demands are not met. But in his zeal, he fails to see that he's become dangerous himself. Will Scotland Yard get to him in time?
