Shadows of the Heart

It's 1920, and headstrong young doctor Kate Munro exits the New Zealand mainland to practice on remote Gannett Island. The more traditional island residents are suspicious of Dr. Kate and her modern ways, but Vic Hanlon -- the son of rich landowners -- is drawn to her fiery nature and individualism. Forbidden feelings between them follow in short order.
