Robert (Philip Winchester) and Alice (Cloudia Swann) have a loving marriage. But the news of Alice's pregnancy triggers in Robert a horrifying nightmare, and he's overcome by a flood of forgotten childhood memories. As his son is born, Robert finds himself slipping deeper into darkness and withdrawn from those who love him. Desperate, he seeks help and is forced to confront his childhood trauma -- and his own father (Jesper Christensen).
