Set during the 1930s, this action-drama follows good-natured farm boy Little Tiger (Yuen Biao) as he travels to Shanghai to find his policeman brother, Big Tiger (George Lam). When his martial arts skills earn him a slot in a local acrobatic troupe, Little Tiger finds himself fighting off the minions of Chin Hung-Yun (Sammo Hung), a local thug. Meanwhile, Big Tiger reunites with singer-turned-revolutionary Mary Sung (Anita Mui).
