Shot on location at China's Shaolin Temple, this historical martial arts drama tells the story of a group of monks who take arms to defend their temple, country and people from enemy invasion during the Ming Dynasty. Chock-a-block with both traditional Chinese fighting and Japanese Kendo, the film stars Hong Kong action legend Sammo Hung as the leader of the warrior monks. The Raymond Lee-helmed drama also features Hung's son, Hung Tin Chiu.
