Maverick British officer Richard Sharpe (Sean Bean) fights against Napoleon in 19th-century Spain. Action and romance follow Sharpe as he and his men risk their lives. Set up by longtime enemy Ducos (Feodor Atkine), Sharpe finds himself accused of stealing Napoleon's treasure. Convicted and sent to prison, Sharpe soon escapes and goes in search of truth and vengeance in a perilous journey across postwar France.
