Maverick British officer Richard Sharpe (Sean Bean) fights against Napoleon in 19th-century Spain. Action and romance follow Sharpe as he and his men risk their lives. After the victory at Victoria, Sharpe goes to England to recruit soldiers to invade France. When Sharpe and Sergeant Major Harper discover and report corruption in the highest ranks of the British army, they become the target of an assassination attempt.
