The first stage of Nobunaga Oda's (Tomisaburo Wakayama) plan to unify Japan -- a dangerous mission that involved annihilating the Iga ninjas -- was a resounding success. But full unification will come only if he can bring the country's far-flung warlords together. Nobunaga's task is made all the more difficult by a renegade Iga ninja who managed to survive Nobunaga's initial attack and is now hell-bent on revenge.
