The title notwithstanding, there are no "short cuts" in the bonus features on this packed disc complementing of one of director Robert Altman's most controversial films. Included are deleted scenes, an interview with writer Raymond Carver, a "reflective" featurette on the film with Altman and star Tim Robbins, an essay by film critic Mike Wilmington, a featurette entitled "Luck, Trust, and Ketchup: Robert Altman in Carver Country" and much more.
