Philanthropic couple Shankarlal (Sanjeev Kumar) and Parvati (Rakhee Gulzar) plan to right the wrongs of modern society by offering counseling to troubled families. The recipients of the caring duo's attention include alcoholic Rajesh (Rakesh Roshan) and his wide-eyed wife, Veena (Deepti Naval), and mismatched pair Aruna (Sarika) and Vishwanath (A.K. Hangal). Can well-meaning meddling help these dysfunctional households?
