Seasoned hit man El Gato (Tomas Goros) has a very particular style when it comes to his work, and when a younger assassin (Luis Fernando Peña) starts to imitate him, El Gato takes notice and targets him as his eventual replacement. This gritty action thriller from Mexican director Ivan Cuevas is equal parts tense urban crime drama and dark comic character piece, and a vivid example of contemporary genre filmmaking at its finest.
