Disheartened by his summer job evicting his wealthy uncle's tenants, law student Monroe Clark (C. Thomas Howell) ditches work and instead casts his lot with former volleyball champ Zack Barnes (Peter Horton) to compete in an upcoming beach volleyball tournament. Sand, surf, skin and spikes abound in this lighthearted sports romp, co-starring Kathy Ireland, Sinjin Smith and Courtney Thorne-Smith.
