Writer-director-leading man Edward Burns delivers a charming and likable story about a group of New Yorkers in search of romance: A married dentist (Stanley Tucci) has an affair with a waitress (Brittany Murphy), which leads his wife (Heather Graham) to ponder bedding her client (Burns). But the client has been seeing a divorcée (Rosario Dawson), whose ex-husband (David Krumholtz) adores the waitress.
