Close friends Vijay (Dharmendra) and Pranlal (Prem Chopra), whose children are about to be wed, suddenly find themselves on a collision course. After Pranlal's secret drug-smuggling activities come to light, Vijay cancels the nuptials, and Pranlal's humiliated son, Amar (Sumeet Saigal), commits suicide. Pranlal's determination to avenge Amar's death soon gives rise to tragic consequences in this Bollywood thriller also starring Jackie Shroff.
