Frannie Vaughn (Farrah Fawcett) learns that her mother has only six months to live and promptly leaves town, returning to find that, sadly, her mother passed on three days earlier. To make matters worse, her resentful sister (Ashley Crow) plans to sell the family farm. Unwilling to let a piece of her past go, Frannie hopes to buy back the farm by working at the local silk plant, which is owned by an attractive man (Brad Johnson).
