Famed choreographer Simone Forti's unusual style is the focus of this performance video that re-creates a revolutionary evening of dance, with Forti's use of nonstylized and improvised movements letting viewers experience dance on a visceral level. La Monte Young composed the intriguing score for the pieces, which are set in a gallery and use props such as hanging ropes and crates. A question and answer session with Forti follows the show.
