When budget cuts in Bayside compel the small town to cut one of its two ambulance companies, the rivals battle it out as each tries to be the chosen unit in this raucous anything-goes romp jam-packed with physical comedy and frat-house humor. The oddball paramedics from the Bayside Ambulatory Life Services (B.A.L.S.) squad and the Downtown Intensive Care (D.I.C.) team go to increasingly outrageous lengths to outsmart and outmaneuver each other.
