Japanese film artist Yuki Kawamura's videos have always had a beautiful ethereal quality, rendering them more akin to paintings or visual art than as commercial vehicles. In this anthology disc, Kawamura's abstract images blend with a brilliant score by Yoshihiro Hanno, a master of electronica and acoustic music, to forge a moving, thought-provoking tableau -- a meditation on the joys of making music and creating art.
