A cop and his sidekick capture a wanted bounty hunter. Unfortunately for the duo, the fugitive is kidnapped from them by a maverick explorer out to collect the reward. The officers are determined to reclaim their captive and his abductors ... but the journey turns perilous when the explorer and his captive enter the Slipstream, a dangerous wind that ravages the earth.
