Adolescent Clark Kent (Tom Welling) of Smallville, Kan., continues his path to superhero status while honing his newfound powers in the eighth season of this long-running, adventure-filled precursor to the Superman mythology. Nemesis Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) pursues his megalomaniacal plans, while Clark's friend, Chloe (Allison Mack), continues to delve into his identity. Kristin Kreuk, Annette O'Toole and John Schneider co-star.
