Sent to jail for a crime he didn't commit, ranch hand John Bishop (John Wayne) is broken out by his boss, Bob Leadly (Henry B. Walthall). In return, Leadly wants Bishop to find his missing son, Bart (Paul Fix). Learning that Bart has joined Monte Black's (J.P. McGowan) "Brotherhood of Death," a gang no one leaves alive, Bishop infiltrates the gang to rescue him. Ann Fay and Shirley Palmer co-star in director Mack V. Wright's two-fisted Western.
