The battle heats up between Sonic the Hedgehog and Dr. Eggman when the evil doctor finally gathers up all seven of the Chaos Emeralds needed to gain absolute power, and Sonic tries to stop him by causing an explosion that lands everyone on Earth. With help from his friends, including 12-year-old Christopher Thorndyke, Sonic tries to get the seven Chaos Emeralds back from Eggman and save his planet.
