Along with their classmates at the Death Weapon Meister Academy, Maka and her human weapon Soul try to bolster their fighting powers and fortify their special bond with each other by slaying and absorbing the spirits of 99 evil humans and one witch. This action-packed anime series also follows Black Star, Tsubaki, Death the Kid, Patty and Liz as they try to meet the same soul quota and battle all sorts of evil monsters. Part 3 contains episodes 40-51.
