After trading in cold British winters for the warmth of the Spanish countryside, writer Gerald Brenan (Matthew Goode) discovers that he's fallen in love with more than just the lushness of the landscape in this spicy romantic comedy. Determined to woo a dazzling local beauty named Juliana (Verónica Sánchez), Gerald vows -- with help from his new friend Paco (Guillermo Toledo) -- to learn and embrace Spanish customs.
